Extra copies a must!

There's bound to be a story or two in Jafee's book that you can't help but talk about. One of my favorites is about the couple who tried in vain to get pregnant for two years. Without giving too much away, let's just say that their situation finally turned around. I'd tell you more stories, but a guest picked up the book from our end table, started reading it & laughing out loud. She wound up taking it (the book, not the end table) home with her. Consider buying an extra copy!

Marc Jaffe's sense of wit and wry humor make this a book that'll keep you laughing on the ninth and tenth read -- and believe me, you'll find yourself going back to these pages that many times. He has an amazingly deft touch at finding extraordinarily funny circumstances to everyday happenings. This is a must read for those whose funny bones can still be tickled -- and an absolute must read for those whose can't.

I found myself reading passage after passage to my husband, who was initially squeamish about the subject matter. He asked me if he could read it when I was done! If you knew him, you'd know that this is a very special book!

If they don't then this very funny book will give them some insight into the craziness. It had my husband and I in tears, we were laughing so hard. The middle of the night phone calls were my favorite. That could be a book in itself. All OB/GYNs should get this book and when you're done laughing, put it in your waiting room, or get one for each exam room, then your patients won't mind when you are running behind.

Witty, breezy fun

Having two children of my own, this was always recognizable and often hilarious. Not that you'll learn anything from this book, but it sure made listening to my kids' attempts at speech more humorous. A perfect gift for new moms and dads -- or anyone, really, who's ever had kids. Or knows kids.

This is a laugh-out-loud read.
We couldn't put in down and the lingo has captivated our dialog with our baby.
This is a must have for new parents, and will eliminate hours of frustration interacting with your baby once you master the approach.
My wife has ordered a dozen copies for future baby showers.
